大连枫叶小学“Wow Class”活动精彩报道(低年级)

每年的10月我们枫小英语组都会开展“Wow Class”活动。今年教师们被分成两组,分别会在本学期和下学期为我们带来精彩课堂展示。参与本轮活动的低年组英语教师有Jake, Mary, James, Promise, Mike and Sally. 几位老师的课各有特色,但有一个共同特点就是让学生从“学会”变为“会学”,变“要我学”为“我要学”。几位老师在教学过程中都做到了以学生为中心,成为学生学习的帮助者,合作者,引导者。看一下小编记录的他们的课堂精彩瞬间吧!
Every October, we will launch the “Wow Class” event. This year, the teachers are divided into two groups, each of which will give us a wonderful class presentation during this semester and the next semester. Jake, Mary, James, Promise, Mike and Sally did their Wow Classes this semester. The lessons of the teachers have their own characteristics, but one common feature is to change students from "Learning the knowledge" to "Learning the method". 老师们精心的备课和一些新颖的设计给了我们听课教师们很大的惊喜。外教课上孩子们在老师的引导下大胆用英语交流,形式多样。最让小编印象深刻的是Jake老师让孩子们试着改编文本并进行小组交流,真是教学无死角,每个学生都有公平的学习机会。Promise老师给孩子们带来了很多的惊喜,他们的课堂就像一个玩具王国,孩子们在班级各个角落都有所发现并用英语表达。Mike老师的孩子们最小但能力可不小。学前的孩子们在老师的帮助下能听懂全英文指令完成字母配对放词游戏,同时还可以进行星系主题的介绍呢。
The teachers' meticulous preparation and some novel designs gave our teachers a great surprise. In foreign English teachers’ classes, the children communicated boldly in English under the guidance of the teacher. What impressed me most was that Jake asked the children to try to adapt the text and conduct group communication. It is true that each student has a fair learning opportunity. Teacher Promise brought a lot of surprises to the children. Their classroom is like a toy kingdom. Mike's children are the youngest but the ability is not weak. Pre-school children can understand the English instructions and complete the letter-matching vocabulary game with the help of the teacher. At the same time, they can also introduce the galaxy theme by themselves.
几位老师课上注重以学生为主体,让他们成为课堂的主人。教师仅仅起到了穿针引线的作用,学生有很多的活动时间,比如Mary王辉老师的课,孩子有机会自己画出喜怒哀乐,有机会玩老师带来的小神秘玩具,有机会小组合作,有机会学故事表演故事。James王晨老师的班级文化里处处都是英语,孩子们可以在任意墙壁找到灵感,大胆表达。介绍季节,日期,星期都不在话下。Sally任靖舒老师的学生虽然才是入学才两个月,她注重教学语言的艺术,抓住每个萌娃的心。
The teachers are the helpers of the students. 展示课结束后,英语中心张东主任带领全体英语教师参与评课。几位老师的课堂寓教于乐,师生间关系融洽,老师们都能从学生角度为他们设计教学活动,所有学生都能平等的机会参与每项活动。以学生为中心,将课堂还给学生也是我们全体枫小英语教师的目标。
After the Wow classes, Director Zhang Dong of the English Center led all English teachers to participate in the class evaluation. The classrooms of several teachers are entertaining. The relationship between teachers and students is harmonious. Teachers can design teaching activities for them from the perspective of students. All students have equal opportunities to participate in each activity. Taking students as the center and returning the class to the students is also the goal of all our MLES teachers.
